I am an in-network provider for the following insurances:
United Healthcare/United Behavioral Health
If I am not in-network with your insurance company, check to see if your policy includes any out-of-network benefits. I am happy to provide you with any necessary documentation so that you may submit the claim to your health insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Rates: If you are not using insurance, the self-pay rate for the initial session is $150. Follow-up sessions are $125.***This reflects an increase in rates effective August 1, 2017. Being a UTSA alumnus myself, I offer discounted self-pay rates for UTSA employees, students, and alumni. Please note that counseling services qualify as a tax-deductible medical expense. Self-pay rates for Shannon Manuszewski are $75 for the initial session and $60 for follow-up sessions. Shannon does not currently offer any discounts.
Tele-services: I offer telephone and online therapy sessions for those clients unable to travel to my office every week. These sessions are not covered by insurance at this time. They will be charged the self-pay rates listed above. The initial session must be done face-to-face in my office. Please contact me if you are interested in arranging tele-services.
Supervision: I am a board-approved Supervisor for LPC-Interns. The rate for weekly supervision is $75 per session. Call me to arrange a free consultation to discuss and explore your supervision needs further.
Forms of Payment: Cash, credit cards (Visa, MC, AMEX and Discover), and health savings account cards are accepted forms of payment for services. I do not accept checks.
